You’re doing great! It took me some 5 months to get to 260,000, but I was technically only working on the blog for 1 month out of those 5. You can easily improve your Alexa Rank, but it is not something you should concentrate on. Concentrate on your blog, and your Alexa Ranking with simultaneously improve.
